In short
Google Analytics is optional and off until you accept. We do not use advertising or social media cookies. Cloudflare’s cookieless statistics and security services operate separately from your analytics choice. You can decline analytics and still use the website and its forms.
Google Analytics with your consent
After you accept, Google Analytics uses the first-party cookies _ga to distinguish browsers and _ga_<id> to maintain session information. We configure these cookies for up to 180 days; your browser may shorten this. They help measure page views, successful contact and scan requests, career applications and phone or email link clicks. A link click does not confirm a completed call or email. Our analytics code uses page addresses without query strings or fragments and only the origin of the referring site. With your consent, it separately sends selected UTM campaign labels from your arrival link, such as source, medium, campaign name or ID, content variant and keyword. We do not store a separate campaign history in your browser. Form contents and raw phone and email link targets are excluded. Advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalisation remain denied. Google signals and remarketing are disabled.
Remembering your choice
We store your acceptance or rejection, a preference version and a timestamp in your browser’s local storage. Your choice is valid for up to 180 days; an expired record is cleared when you next visit. This record has no visitor identifier and is used only to remember and apply your choice. If it expires or you clear browser storage, we ask again. We do not use this preference record to track you.
Cookieless statistics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see, in aggregate, how often pages are visited and whether the website loads quickly. According to Cloudflare, this script does not place cookies and does not use local storage or other browser storage, and it does not create a profile of you.
Bot protection on forms
On pages with a form, such as the contact page and the free scan request, Cloudflare Turnstile loads from challenges.cloudflare.com. It checks whether a form is sent by a person rather than an automated program. To do this, it processes technical signals such as your IP address and browser information and may use technical storage within its own security frame. This is strictly necessary to protect the form you are using.
Network security by our host
Our website runs on Cloudflare. If Cloudflare detects unusual or suspicious traffic, it can place strictly necessary security cookies, such as __cf_bm or cf_clearance, to tell people and bots apart. These cookies are not used for tracking or advertising. In normal use, our website does not set them.
Links to other websites
We link to our Instagram and LinkedIn pages and to external sources in our articles. These are ordinary links, not embedded content. The other websites only place cookies when you visit them, under their own cookie policies.
How can you manage cookies?
Open cookie preferences in the footer to change your choice at any time. Rejecting analytics withdraws your consent, stops future Google Analytics measurement and removes its cookies from this website. Withdrawal does not undo processing that occurred with your consent. You can also view, block and delete cookies in your browser. If you block Cloudflare’s security techniques, forms may not work; you can always email us.
Changes and questions
We update this statement when our measurement or storage changes, and ask for consent before enabling optional analytics. For questions, email info@pixelshield.studio. Our privacy statement explains data recipients, international transfers, retention and your rights.
